INTERNATIONAL JOURNALIST WITH BASE IN OSLO 

I am an international journalist writing from my travels, but with a base in Oslo.

OSLO/WORLD:  I am experienced in political and economical journalist reporting, foreign news reporting and portraits -  of people and of places. In all my products I use journalistic storytelling, but keep a balance between illustration and phenomena, between a human interest story and the larger picture, at the same time.

My articles have amongst other publications been found in Aftenposten, Jyllandposten, Politiken, Dagens Næringsliv, Dagbladet, Økonomisk Rapport, Morgenbladet, Information, Vi Menn, KK, Ny Tid,VG, Villmarksliv, Juristkontakt, Petro&Indusri, LO Akuelt, Kampanje and various trade press.

 
 
Additional to journalism education from Oslo and Denmark I hold a MA in political science from the University of Oslo, and working on a new MA in history from the University of Copenhagen.

My journalist education is completed BA in European Journalism from Danish School of Journalism (1 year) and University College of Oslo (2 years).
 
Norwegian and English are my working languages. Additional to that I have spent 1 year in Latin America and speak Spanish.

 
 

Among part of my education are:

  •     Norwegian School of Entreprenurship, Norwegian Export Council (Innovation Norway)  at   Fudan University of Shanghai (3 months)
  •     Russian history and politics at European University of St Petersburg (4 months)
  •     German studies, Bavaria and Augsburg (3 months)
  •     College in Costa Rica (11 months)
 
 
My main journalist experience is based on my freelance journalism.

I also have editorial journalist experience from tv, radio, and national and local newspaper, including The Norwegian Law Profession magazine (where I work halftime now),  UNTV in UN HQ New York, TV program "Tv2 Hjelper Deg", Online paper www.Nettavisen.no and local paper Svalbardposten (Spitsbergen).  Other professional experience is in  subdivison of Norwegian Ministry of Health, the aid organisation The Development Fund, proofreader for the Norwegian financial daily news (Dagens Næringsliv), videos and research for the Ministry of Environment and  research for the Norwegian Foreign Ministry.

Outside work, I have held voluntary positions in solidarity-or green NGOs, including the Board of Direction of the national campaign Operasjon Dagsverk (od.no), the direction of SAIH (Students and Academics aid organisation) and Natur&Ungdom (Ecological Youth Movement).
